Cookies policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This policy explains how the TfL Visitor Shop uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what they do and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our privacy policy.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit. Cookies let the website remember things about your visit, such as what is in your basket, and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way, and we refer to them all as cookies in this policy.
Cookies set by us, or by Shopify, the platform our shop runs on, are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other companies, such as payment providers, are called third-party cookies.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- keep track of the tickets in your basket and take you through checkout;
- remember your country, currency and cookie choices;
- keep your account signed in, if you have one;
- understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (only if you allow this); and
- measure the effectiveness of our marketing (only if you allow this).
The information collected by cookies does not usually identify you personally. Where we do collect personal information, such as when you place an order or contact us, it is handled as described in our privacy policy.
Your cookie choices
When you first visit the site, a cookie banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the shop cannot work without them. All other cookies are only used if you agree.
You can change your choices at any time:
