Using your Group Day Travelcard
Group Day Travelcards let you travel as often as you like on bus, Tube (underground), Elizabeth Line, tram, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail, and most National Rail services within London fare Zones 1 to 6. These paper tickets are valid for groups of 10 or more people, who must be travelling together at all times on the date printed on the ticket.

Group Day Travelcards are Off-Peak paper tickets that can be used from 09.30 am Mondays to Fridays, all day Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, on the date printed on the ticket, and for any journey that starts before 04.30 am the following day.
The Group Day Travelcards available from the VisitBritain Shop are valid to travel within Zones 1-6, which includes Heathrow airport (Zone 6).
Group Day Travelcards are available for adults and children and can be purchased for groups of 10 or more fare-paying passengers who must be travelling together at all times.
How to order for different dates
To order Group Day Travelcards for more than one day, follow the process below:
- Under Date of Travelcard, select the first date when you want to use your Group Day Travelcards.
- Add them to your basket and then click ‘Add more’.
- Next change the Date of Travelcard to the second date when you want to use your Group Day Travelcards (such as the next day), and click ‘Add to basket’ again.
- You have now added Group Day Travelcards for two different dates to your basket. To add more, repeat these steps.
- Remember that for Group Day Travelcards you must order at least 10 tickets (adult OR child) for the same date.
PLEASE NOTE: once an order is placed you cannot change the date of the Travelcard.

- You must be a minimum of 10 fare-paying passengers to be able to buy Group Day Travelcards. The 10 people can be a mix of adults and children.
- There is no limit on the number of people that can travel as part of the same group with Group Day Travelcard tickets.

I’m going to London with my students, can I buy child Group Day Travelcards for them?
- Child-rate Group Day Travelcards are available for 5 to 15 year olds. 16 year olds and older need to buy adult-rate tickets.

- Group Day Travelcards can only be used on the date printed on the ticket. If your group is coming to London for a few days, you will need to buy tickets for each day you travel

- Customers using Group Day Travelcards must travel together at all times. If they don’t, each member of the group might be charged a penalty fare of up to £80.
